Diorama Room

Visit the Diorama Room where a life-size display introduces visitors to the life of St Mary MacKillop. Visitors are invited to walk through this room listening to the recorded story of St Mary MacKillop and looking at five particular phases in her life. Stay a while and reflect on Mary’s courage, faith and commitment as she listened and responded to God’s call in her life.

Groups of school children love to see and use the old student slates and blackboards, to make comparisons between then and now and to imagine the journey by sea to Rome. Opportunities abound to learn history, geography and much more in a different setting.

Learn about the life of Sister Irene McCormack, the local WA Sister of St Joseph, who worked and died in Peru.
